Every part of the Service Academy Application is graded and weighted. The rough numbers are
60% Academic
20% Physical Fitness
20% Extra Curricular Activities/ Leadership/ Interviews/ Recommendations
The US Coast Guard Academy application is submitted online. The USCGA Pre-Candidate questionaire will (hopefully) be considered qualified and advanced from APPLICANT to the next stage of being an "Official Candidate". At the OFFICIAL CANDIDATE stage you will be assigned a number and password and you can track your application online .
