- Fitness Requirements (Including Percent Bodyfat/ Height/ Weight Standards)
- Medical Requirements (All Candidates will have a Medical Exam as part of the Application)
- Congressional Nomination (US Coast Guard Academy is reviewing this step)
- Be of good Moral Character
- Interview
Every part of the Application is graded and weighted. The rough numbers are
60% Academic
20% Physical Fitness
20% Extra Curricular Activities/ Leadership/ Interviews/ Recommendations
